Homesite Housing

In collaboration with Peter Davis Builders, Geise Architects is developed nine design/build homes for Homesite, a non-profit housing development corporation that provides affordable housing for first time home buyers. The project consists of 4 single family homes from 1,350sq.ft. to 1,490 sq.ft. along with five townhouses ranging from three bedrooms of 1,194 sq. ft. to 1,275 sq.ft. for a four bedroom. While designing homes for the modest budget, Geise did not compromise on the need to create living environments of dignity and traditional aesthetics. These homes were designed to take advantage of views as well as giving special attention to the site’s landscaping. Geise was able to design around existing trees including a large maple which provides a focal point at the center of this community.
